Activities:
- MAPO method: models for risk assessment and management. Operative tools for risk assessment and management in the different assistance areas in hospitals: Italian experience in 1997-2007 decade.
- A regional strategy in prevention of risk and damage from patient manual handling: regional experience of standardized operative tool applied in all hospitals of Liguria Region.
- Aids in patient manual handling. Experience of specific aid design with relation to patient disability analysis: ergonomic aspects.
- Training effectiveness aimed at risk reduction from patient manual handling: training outcomes for health care workers.
Addressed to: work related risk prevention professionals, occupational physicians, managers of hospitals and other health care structures.
Documentation: The first 100 participants will receive a CD with the technical documentation of the MAPO method, and the excel software for its application.
